Copperfish is delighted to have been chosen to light up the DeerStone, a new luxury eco-retreat in Laragh, Co. Wicklow.

Nestled amongst the lush greenery of Wicklow's countryside, close to Glendalough, the Deer Stone, opened in 2024, was designed by Studio 3 Architecture, a Dublin based architecture firm, specialising in sustainable design. The Deer Stone feels and looks luxurious but is conscientiously designed to ensure strong eco-credentials.

The furniture, fittings and materials used throughout the Deerstone have been sourced locally and as sustainably as possible. Copperfish is among a list of sustainable and ethical brands chosen as suppliers including including Voya Toiletries, Brady's Coffee and White & Green bed linen. Additionally, the retreat is A1 BER rated with more than 50% of electricity powered through their own solar panels with compostable toilets throughout.

The Deerstone offers accomodation for individuals as well as groups and specialises in retreats and corporate events with a range of eco-cottages, sheperds huts, and actvities such as yoga, foraging and seaweed baths available!
